Experience: 

  • Therapist at Teen Therapy Center (formerly Los Gatos Teen Therapy) (2015-present)
  • Four years of providing one-on-one behavioral coaching to youth in a Level-14 residential treatment facility. (2006 - 2010)
  • Providing therapy, case management and crisis services to high-risk teens and their families in an intensive wrap-around program at EMQ Families First. Helped bridge a partnership between non-profit service providers and the San Jose Police Department, in order to maximize treatment and support for runaway youth and sexually-exploited youth. (2010 – 2013)
  • Coached teens and young adults in employment-readiness, and helped develop the Career Mentoring program at TeenForce. (2013 - 2014) Furthering this area of interest through an adjunct position at Cisco Systems, connecting youth with barriers to opportunities for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) mentorship with tech professionals.
