Part-Time Psychiatrist
Teen Therapy Center and Family Therapy Center are private mental health practices on the Los Gatos/San Jose border. We provide high-quality mental health care to children, individuals, couples, and families. We are seeking a highly skilled psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for teens and young adults in our Behavioral Medicine Department.
This role starts at 6-10 hours per week with the potential to grow if desired.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for teens and young adults
Diagnose and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and care teams
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while monitoring effectiveness and side effects
Provide follow-up care focused on medication adjustments, symptom monitoring, and lifestyle recommendations
Coordinate care with therapists, behavioral health providers, and medical professionals as needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
MD or DO with board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (preferred) or General Psychiatry with experience treating adolescents
Active California medical license in good standing
Strong background in ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and behavioral challenges
Commitment to evidence-based care and collaborative treatment approaches
Energetic, compassionate, and motivated to support youth mental health
Experience with telepsychiatry is a plus but not required
