Full-Time Licensed Therapist & Clinical Supervisor
(Palo Alto or San Jose Location)
Teen Therapy Center is a private, multi-disciplinary mental health clinic with locations in San Jose and Palo Alto. We provide high quality mental health care to adolescents and their families. We are looking for an energetic and highly skilled clinical leader committed to providing superior care to join our team at either location.

Responsibilities:
Provide therapy to teens and their families
Coordinate and communicate regularly with parents of clients
Provide group and weekly individual supervision and consultation for up to three associate therapists at a time
Serve on our agency’s Leadership Team
Perform intake, assessment, treatment planning, ongoing therapy, and termination services
Collaborate with other providers as needed – psychiatrists, primary care physicians, etc.
Ensure timely maintenance of clinical documentation in accordance with agency policy
Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars and client information using practice management software
Participate in hiring and onboarding process for associate clinicians
Additional opportunities available if desired – starting a group, teaching a class, giving presentations, etc.
Marketing Responsibilities (Palo Alto only):
Develop and maintain existing relationships with various community professionals
Enthusiastically market the agency through phone calls, e-mails, and face-to-face visits with community professionals in the area
Partner with the Outreach Coordinator to execute a community awareness and outreach plan
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director or Clinical Director
Minimum Qualifications:
California licensed clinician registered and in good standing with the BBS
Licensed for at least 2 years with the ability and desire to supervise associates
Passionate about working with a diverse caseload including teens and parents
Must have extensive experience in individual and family therapy
Proficient in using cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems
Energetic, motivated, compassionate, personable, hard-working, and reliable
Must not work in another private practice
Must be able and willing to work three afternoons/evenings and one weekend day
Experience in treating substance use/abuse and/or eating disorders is a plus, but is not required
Knowledge of Dr. David Burn’s TEAM-CBT therapy model is a plus, but is not required
Experience supervising and managing others is a plus, but is not required
Marketing / outreach experience is also plus, but is not required
